Robinson Center Graduation

Robinson Center Graduates from our Early Entrance & UW Academy Programs are invited to attend our graduation on June 13th 2023. We are going all out to celebrate Robinson Center Grads this year, complete with food, beverages, dessert, and more! Our RSVP will be sent out to graduating students and our greater community.
EVENT INFORMATION FOR GUESTS

Doors Open: 6:00pm
Ceremony: 6:30-8:00pm
Reception: 8-8:30pm
Driving: Driving directions are available through the HUB website
Bus: When using Metro Transit, please use “UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON HUB” as the destination. There are a number of bus routes that stop at the Husky Union Building.
Light Rail: The Light Rail stop at University of Washington is a 10 minute walk from the HUB.
Parking: Padelford Parking Garage is the nearest parking lot to the HUB. Disability parking is available in Lot N-22, just north of the HUB. A valid N-22 parking permit is required in order to park there.
RSVP & Seating: Graduating Students are RSVPing in advance to include the amount of guest tickets they need. Seating is general admission. ADA seating is available. Connect with an usher at the venue for assistance.
SCHEDULE
5:45-6:00 p.m. Students check-in
6-6:25 p.m. Guests check-in, Lyceum opens for seating
6:30 p.m. Program begins
8:00 p.m. Program concludes
8-8:30 p.m. Reception in the HUB Lyceum Foyer
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Guests may arrive any time after 6:00 pm. If guests arrive early, they will be asked to wait outside the Lyceum until the venue is ready to open.
If guests require ADA accommodation, alert one of the ushers and they can assist you accordingly.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30 pm.
PARKING INFORMATION
Give yourself plenty of time to park. We recommend using the Link Light Rail or Bus, if possible.
Parking is available in one of several parking garages around the venue. You can find more information about parking on campus here. Evening parking after 4pm is $6.25 in all locations except the Central Parking Garage, where the evening fee is $12.50. Parking fee waivers will be given to all graduates and guests who request them in advance.
SEATING INFORMATION
Students are invited to sit with their families and loved ones during the event. Guest seating is general admission. There is also ADA/handicapped seating available for guests. We ask that guests requiring ADA seating be given priority for those seats.
ATTIRE
Our dress code is to wear what makes you happy. Many students and guests will dress in celebratory attire. Students can wear their cap and gown if they would like, and some may wear attire that represents their personal or cultural background. It is up to guests and students to decide on what they would like to wear.
RECEPTION INFORMATION
After the conclusion of the program, students and their families and invited guests will be invited to join a reception in the Foyer of the HUB Lyceum. We will have appetizers, drinks and desserts.
Following the program, students may depart with their families.
PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING
Students and families are welcome to take photos or video during the program. We ask that you be courteous to those around you and try to ensure that you are not blocking anyone’s view during the event. Students and guests are welcome to get up and move around during the program as long as they do so quietly.
A professional quality photo booth will be available to graduates and their guests in the Lyceum Foyer before and after the program.
We encourage anyone taking photos or video to request permission to include other students or families outside of your group before doing so.
