Aaron Lecciones is a Ph.D. student in Urban Design and Planning at the University of Washington’s College of Built Environments, where his research explores the social dimensions of blue-green infrastructure in urban wetlands. He also serves as an Assistant Professor at the College of Architecture, University of the Philippines Diliman. Holding a BS in Architecture, an MA in Urban and Regional Planning, and an MSc in Practising Sustainable Development, Aaron brings a multidisciplinary approach to his work. A recipient of the 2011 British Chevening and 2022 Fulbright-CHED Scholarships, as well as a regional winner of the 2005 Holcim Awards for Sustainable Construction, he is deeply committed to environmental stewardship, empowering youth through action and leadership.
