Anne Duncan (she/her) teaches introductory composition for UW’s English Writing Program. She is originally from New York and received her B.A. in creative writing from Johns Hopkins University. She is a current Ph.D. student in English at UW, where her research focuses on contemporary American poetic forms and social forces. She is a published poet and critic. Anne spends her free time walking her dog, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, crafting, and baking. She loves to support her students’ curiosities, experimentations, and social awareness in her composition classroom.
