Ella Ott is returning to UW’s Robinson Center as the instructor for Survey of Linguistics, the course she was the teacher’s aide for last year! She holds a master’s degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from University of Tennessee Knoxville. Ella has five years of language teaching experience throughout Tennessee and Seattle. Her research and teaching interests pertain to linguistics and language acquisition. She enjoys binge-watching movies, going for long walks, and creating a playlist for every possible situation.
