Omolara Akingba (Lara) is a second-year epidemiology Master’s of Public Health student at the University of Washington. She plans to continue into the Ph.D. program. Lara is very passionate about infectious diseases and solving public health issues through research. She believes that our future public health leaders are already among the Robinson Center scholars and hopes to see them gain insights, understanding, and appreciation for everything about public health. She hopes to pass on the same knowledge about epidemiology that she was given. The goal is to help us all create a better, safer, and healthier future together.
