Over twenty-five years after being a Summer Stretch student, Theresa is thrilled to be joining the staff as a precalculus instructor. She received her bachelor’s in physics from MIT, along with a Massachusetts teaching license. Her career has covered multiple aspects of STEM communication, including informal museum education and textbook and curriculum development; she is passionate about nontraditional teaching and learning methods and has presented workshops connecting learning to everything from internet memes to Dungeons and Dragons. When she’s not tutoring math or physics students, Theresa can be found performing as a stand-up comedian.
