The UW Academy is an early entrance program for highly capable and motivated high school students, offered by the Robinson Center for Young Scholars at the University of Washington, Seattle. A select cohort of 35-40 students is admitted to the Academy each year, becoming a part of the Robinson Center’s (RC) vibrant early entrance community. Students apply to the Academy during the 10th grade and if accepted, withdraw from high school at the end of the school year. They enroll as first year students at the University of Washington, beginning with a Bridge Program designed to assist students as they transition into college-level work and the university environment.
