Did you know that being just 30 miles from campus can still put opportunity out of reach? A new UW article highlights how the Robinson Center Enrichment Summer Program and the Auburn School District collaborated to remove financial, logistical, and cultural barriers, enabling more highly capable students to access advanced summer learning on campus. Read about how a strong partnership bridges the distance through free transportation and scholarships to turn Hope into Opportunity for dozens of students.

Last year, the Enrichment program offered over 90 scholarships to ensure cost was not a barrier to summer learning, giving students meaningful time in advanced academic settings that build confidence and a sense of belonging. In a changing educational landscape, funding from tax-deductible donations, of any size, is vital to the RC’s mission to support students who are eager to learn and ready to participate, ensuring that learning isn’t limited by a student’s zip code, school district, or ability to navigate complex systems.
