Research in Gifted Education has consistently argued that effective mentorship is a vital component in the success of students. What role do mentors play in your success, both at the university and beyond? How does one seek out mentorship? Join us for the fifth installment of our Alumni Speaker Series, where we will kick off our brand new Mentor Bank, and a panel of RC alumni will share their experiences with mentorship and give advice about how to make the most of these important relationships.

At this event we are pleased to present a panel of six RC alumni who have graciously volunteered to share their experiences post UW:

Liz Cady - Academy class of '10
Elizabeth Cook - EEP class of '13
Sarah Herman - EEP class of '08
Ansel Herz - TS class of '03
Rebecca Mark - Academy class of '10
Natalie Weizenbaum - EEP class of '10

We will also take this opportunity to honor Jack Lee, and Pm Weizenbaum, parents of an alum who have contributed greatly to the mission of mentoring other parents!

The Alumni Panel will take place in the Yukon Pacific Room at the UW Club, on Friday, November 7th, from 4-5PM. From 5-6PM, we will provide an hour of socializing with an all you can eat Nachos Bar!

Please RSVP here. If you are a student alumni who cannot come but would still like to be a resource to current students, there is a place for your contact information on the RSVP form.

We look forward to seeing you there!
