Pauly earned a B.S. in aerospace engineering with minors in applied mathematics and computer science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Pauly is a former engineer with The Boeing Company where he performed research on aviation biofuels and, separately, helped implement a factory process designed to reduce manufacturing waste to landfills. He has a passion for teaching math and enjoys connecting with and challenging his students. In his spare time, he stays active outdoors by hiking, running, and cycling.
