Kevin Alvarez is a second-year graduate student at the University of Washington, in the Culturally Sustaining Education program at the College of Education. He is thrilled to join the instructional team at the Robinson Center this Fall. Before coming to UW, he taught in the elementary grades in Arizona and then here in Washington State. In his spare time he enjoys reading, hiking, and finding tasty food in the city. As a transplant in the Pacific Northwest, he is always looking for food recommendations and other cool things to do and explore, so feel free to send them his way!
