Sam Timinsky

Dr. Sam Timinsky is an experienced educator with a passion for history, rhetoric, politics, and debate. He holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as an M.A. in International Studies from the University of Washington.

With 15 years of teaching experience across university, high school, and middle school levels, Samuel has taught at several esteemed institutions, including The Nueva School in California. He is currently an Humanities Teacher at the Northwest School in Seattle. He is excited to be back once again working the Robinson Center Summer Program after several years away. His dedication to teaching has been recognized with numerous awards, including the University of Chicago’s Outstanding Educator Award (2022). Samuel is also an experienced speech and debate teacher, and has led his students to a national championship in Parliamentary Debate in 2023.
