Alexa Lansberry earned a BS in physics with a minor in biomedical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and an MAT with a focus on secondary science education from Western Governor’s University. She has been teaching middle school science at University Prep since 2021. She has redesigned the UPrep’s 7^th grade science curriculum with her co-teacher to deliver a variety of hands-on learning experiences across physical and life science. She has also been heavily involved in the school’s club program and has served as faculty advisor for clubs like Video Game Club,  Scratch Club, VR Club, Women in STEM, and the Gender Sexuality Alliance.
