On Monday, January 19th (MLK Day), prospective UW Academy students who need help with their application are invited to join us at the Robinson Center on UW campus from 1:00 - 3:00 PM to receive help with completing their applications from current Academy students. This is a drop in event, so it is fine to arrive late or only come for a short time.
- This event is specifically for students who need help with one or more of the following:
- Access to a computer to work on their application
- Understanding the instructions for the online Academy application or UW Freshman application
- Brainstorming or proofreading essays, especially for students where English is not the main language spoken at home
- Filling out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
Please RSVP here if you are planning to attend.
Please note: This event is specifically for prospective students. Parents are not expected to participate in this opportunity. Program staff will have limited availability at this event, so if you have general questions about the program, please attend our upcoming information session on January 15th or call our Center at 206 543 4160.
