Al Snow

Al Snow (they/them) is a 5th year PhD student in the Physics Education Group at UW. They grew up and attended college in California before moving to Seattle to start graduate school. They are currently conducting research to better understand pre-existing ideas that students have about physics. They also work in Academic Support Programs at UW, supporting students in their learning of physics, and run a student organization, STEM Pals, bringing science workshops to students in local K-12 schools. Aside from teaching and physics, Al also enjoys music, roller coasters, and hanging out with pets.
