Alex Henry (they/them) is a current Ph.D. student and instructor in the English Language & Rhetoric Program at University of Washington. They are also the Assistant Director for the Program for Writing & Rhetoric. They have a passion for linguistic justice, community-engaged research, and Indigenous language rights. They have various degrees of experience in multiple language families and are currently engaged in research about language documentation and the historical making of dictionary and language guides. Coming from a background of Applied Linguistics, they are returning for a third year to the Robinson Center, teaching Survey of Linguistics.
