Corey Olds

Corey Olds earned his B.A. in French from Oberlin College in 1991. He also holds an M.A. in History and in Humanities from Stanford University. As an award-winning teacher with more than 30 years of experience, Corey is a former university professor of history and humanities. Before moving to Seattle in 2017, he wrote six children’s books and consulted with independent schools nationwide on innovating the humanities. Since 2018, Corey has taught creative writing, language arts, and photography in the Robinson Center’s Saturday Enrichment Program, along with American Literature and media literacy in the Summer Stretch Program. In 2024 and 2025, he designed and taught How to Write and Publish Your Own Book of Fiction for the Robinson Center’s Summer Challenge Program. Presently, Corey teaches ELA and History/Social Studies, in addition to serving as Curriculum Developer and Director of Collegiate Competitions, at Torah Day School of Seattle.
