Hannah Carpenter earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Astronomy and Physics with a minor in music from the University of Washington. They have been involved in teaching and special education since 2016, and held a passion for science communication specifically since 2024. As a student, they were involved in organizations such as the UW League of Astronomers and UW SGMA (Sexual and Gender Minorities in Astronomy). Hannah is also an involved singer and performer, and always happy to talk about the value of music in education. They served as a Classroom Aide for the class ‘From Galileo to Einstein’ in the summer of 2025, an Instructor for ‘From Galileo to Einstein’ in the summer of 2026, and are very happy to continue with the Robinson Center as a Saturday Instructor!
