Jay Aquinas Thompson

Jay Aquinas Thompson (he/they) is a poet and teaching artist with ten years of experience teaching creative writing and ELA to youth in public school, after-school programs, and psychiatric care; college students; and incarcerated adults. Jay is a Robinson Center alum (’98) and their poetry and essays have appeared in Pacifica Literary Review, Jubilat, Poetry Northwest (where they’re a contributing editor), and many other outlets. They’re the recipient of awards and grants from the Community of Writers, the Sustainable Arts Foundation, and King County 4Culture.
