Dr. Jordan Sherry-Wagner is an educator, philosopher, and learning scientist who became involved in K-12 philosophy education as a Graduate Student Fellow with the University of Washington Center for Philosophy for Children (now PLATO) from 2017-2019. Going on to earn a Certificate of Mastery in philosophy for children, Jordan has led philosophy sessions in a wide range of educational contexts, including formal classrooms, summer camps, weekend enrichment programs, and the WA State High School Ethics Bowl. Jordan currently works as a postdoctoral scholar on the Learning in Places project, where he designs and studies more ethical forms teaching and learning in the context of field-based science and civics.
