Kathryn Grubbs

Kathryn Grubbs (she/her) joined the Robinson Center in 2014 as the Academic Adviser and currently serves as the Director of EEP and UW Academy.  Kathryn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Social Relations with a minor in Spanish from Earlham College and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology.  Kathryn has worked in the mental health field since 2004 and began working in education in 2007.  Kathryn’s entry into work with highly capable students began at the Illinois Math and Science Academy and continues at the Robinson Center.  As a transplant to Seattle, Kathryn enjoys exploring the food, environment, and culture of the Pacific Northwest with her dog and partner.  Kathryn would like to acknowledge that we live and work on the traditional land of the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish people, past and present, and honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe.
