Linda Barragan

Linda Barragan (she/her) is from Wapato, Washington. She earned a B.A. in Biology from the University of Washington with a minor in Education, Learning, and Societies, later pursuing her Master’s in Teaching at Seattle University.

She now teaches 5th grade science in South Seattle. Fifth grade was the year she fell in love with science, and she hopes to spark that same curiosity and excitement in her students. As a child of immigrants, she is passionate about making STEM accessible to students of all backgrounds by bringing the world into the classroom. Her teaching approach is hands-on and interactive, fostering curiosity and engagement.

When she isn’t teaching, she loves spending time outdoors, baking, dancing, traveling, and making memories with friends!
