
Margo Bergman earned a PhD in Economics from University of Houston, an MPH in Public Health Genetics from the University of Washington, and an MS in Bioethics from Columbia University. She has been teaching economics, data science, and statistics at the university level since 2003. Currently she teaches computer science and data analytics at The Evergreen State College. She uses a variety of labs and real-world data to support her students in their learning experiences. Outside the classroom, she is involved with multiple AI safety collaborative groups, Women in Data Science, and the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities. She also loves to bake and spend time with her three kids and two cats.
