Summer Stretch Instructor
Nic Jones is a second year Philosophy Ph.D. student and a fellow with the UW Center for Philosophy for Children, through which they have been facilitating philosophical conversations in 3rd and 4th grade classrooms in Seattle for the past two years. They are a teaching assistant in introductory philosophy of science, introductory logic, and ethics courses, as well as with the UW Robinson Center’s Summer Stretch Program. Nic’s greatest joy when teaching is seeing students break out of rote memorization and start to think critically about whatever topic is at hand.
