Noah Nguyen is a Ph.D. student in Materials Science & Engineering at the University of Washington. Originally from Vietnam, she earned a B.S. in Computer Science and Software Engineering from UW Bothell before pursuing research at the intersection of materials science, computational modeling, and machine learning. She has also gained industry experience at Intel and now supports physical-science technology commercialization through UW CoMotion.

Committed to equitable education and public engagement, Noah has advocated for higher-education policy through the UW Graduate and Professional Student Senate and designs inclusive K–12 STEM curricula through the UW Robinson Center for Young Scholars. Her work has been recognized through the Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer and Graduate Scholarships, the Center for Space Nuclear Research Fellowship, the Clean Energy Institute Graduate Fellowship, and the Teach For America Ignite Fellowship. Outside of work, Noah enjoys indoor bouldering, triathlon, fantasy novels, sitcoms, and time with her family and two cats.
