As a medical graduate with a Master’s in Public Health and over six years of combined clinical and research experience, Shawon Riffat Ara is currently advancing her expertise through a Ph.D. in Epidemiology at the University of Washington, Seattle. Her journey in healthcare has been marked by significant clinical roles and impactful epidemiological research, contributing to several key studies in child health, early childhood development, infectious and non-infectious diseases, and injury. Passionate about advancing public health knowledge, Shawon is particularly drawn to challenges that foster personal and professional growth and innovation.
