Townsend Rowland is a Ph.D. student at the University of Notre Dame, studying the history and philosophy of science. He is interested in how spectacle affected scientific experimentation, scientific communication, and the demarcation problem. Although currently living in Indiana, Townsend grew up in Seattle, graduating from the UW in 2022 with honors in Philosophy and the History and Philosophy of Science. Beyond all things nerdy, he loves fishing, powerlifting, and video games!
