Will Patrone (he/him) is a graduate student at UW’s School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences. He grew up in Florida before moving to Seattle after graduating from the University of Florida. His research involves creating bioeconomic models for the US West Coast’s groundfish fishery. He has previously worked with UW’s Department of Chemistry and Fred Hutchinson Research Center as a research coordinator. He also served as the president of a K-12 STEM education nonprofit for three years. In his free time, Will enjoys bowling, watching and playing sports, and exploring Seattle’s many bookstores and cafés.
