Xuetao Ma is a fourth-year graduate student at the University of Washington, in the Material Science and Engineering department. He is a joint Ph.D. student working with Prof. JiunHaw Chu and Prof. Matthew Yankowitz. He grew up in Anhui, China, and came to the U.S. for undergrad study. During his experience at Purdue University, he developed an interest in learning material science in more depth. After graduation, he joined UW as a Master student and later transferred into the Ph.D. program. His current research is related to transport properties of 2-dimensional materials.
