Human Geography is one of the first AP classes that students often take in high school. In our Summer Stretch course, People, Space, and Place, students will explore how humans are connected socially, culturally, and spatially to each other and the physical environment. They will look at issues of population and demographic change, how we interact with our environments, issues in geopolitics, economic development, how we create and behave in places/spaces, and social inequality (via race, class, gender, sexuality, ability, language and, religion).
