Student Conduct

• Public displays of affection are disrespectful to the RC community at large and are prohibited in all areas including the porches. Please keep your private life private.
• Any violations of the UW Student Code of Conduct are ground for dismissal from the RC Lounge. (http://www.washington.edu/cssc/student-conduct-overview/student-code-of-conduct/)
• Any violation of the student code of conduct or applicable laws while using the wireless access in the lounge, your rights to continued use will be cut off immediately and your access to the Lounge may be restricted.
• If your grades are suffering, the RC staff reserves the right to limit your access to non-academic activities in the lounge until your grades improve.

Music/Singing/Audio

• All audio must be self-contained – use headphones please!
• Musical instruments and voices may only be played (used) in the kitchen or out of doors. Amplifiers are not allowed at any time.

Keeping Common Areas Clean

• RC Lounge: To maximize the usable space in the lounge, there is a wall with large day-use cubbies. RC students must utilize the cubbies to prevent clutter from taking up space on chairs, couches, and tables. The large cubbies are for day use only and items must be removed each evening.
• Any items left in the Lounge may be subject to immediate disposal.
• Small cubbies are assigned and non-food items may be stored overnight (stinky socks or gym clothes are an exception to the overnight allowance.)

All RC students share in the responsibility of maintaining a respectful and clean environment. To this end, TS students are responsible for assigned areas each week. Additionally, systems will be put into place to incorporate sharing of responsibilities with EEP and ACAD students. The student leadership teams will manage student assignments.

We all thank you.
