Can you solve the mystery before the germs spread? Each week, a new case lands on the desks of our Disease Detectives. Students will investigate how diseases spread, follow clues, collect evidence, and discover how public health professionals and epidemiologists work together to keep communities healthy.
Through hands-on experiments, engineering challenges, collaborative investigations, and real-world public health stories, students will trace the spread of germs, explore how the immune system works, design clean water solutions, investigate fictional outbreaks, and discover how science helps prevent illness around the world. By the end of the course, students will use everything they've learned to solve a final outbreak mystery and share their detective work with families during our Disease Detective Showcase.
