Saturday courses are offered on Saturday mornings from September through June in four sessions: Fall, December, Winter, and Spring.
- Courses are open to students in kindergarten through 8th grade–enrollment is strictly based on the current grade. To provide a developmentally appropriate learning environment, students are grouped into four grade bands. Visit our Student Support Page for more details.
- K-1 Grade
- 2-3 Grade
- 4-5 Grade
- 6-8 Grade
- Classes are 50 minutes long and run from 9 AM to 1 PM.
- Classes will begin at 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 12:00 PM.
- NEW: Students can take up to four courses per session.
- NEW: 2-hour-long lab courses
- Saturday courses are held in person at the Mary Gates Hall on the UW Seattle campus.
- A few select classes may be available online via Zoom, depending on the specific sessions. For online classes, students will need a computer, internet access, a webcam, and a microphone.

- Fall 2026: September 26th – November 21st (9 Saturday session)
- Registration opens at 9:00 AM on September 1st and closes on September 19th
- December 2026: December 5th & 12th (2 Saturday session)
- Registration opens at 9:00 AM on November 3rd and closes on November 28th
- Winter 2027: January 9th– March 13th (9 Saturday session)
- Registration opens at 9:00 AM on December 8th and closes on January 2nd
- No class on February 13th
- Spring 2027: April 17th – June 12th (8 Saturday session)
- Registration opens at 9:00 AM on March 23rd and closes on April 10th
- No class on May 29th
Our program is very popular, and some courses fill up very quickly once registration opens. We encourage you to join our mailing list and stay tuned for our announcements.
Registration Priority
To help more students access our courses, we give priority registration to students who haven’t taken the course before.
